Retail Store Manager

Cancer Research UK is seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our trading team. As an ambassador for the charity, you will be responsible for leading a team of paid staff and volunteers to maximize sales and fundraising targets.
Key Responsibilities- Guiding and inspiring a diverse team to achieve commercial goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including display and merchandising, stock management, and sales.
- Leading by example and providing excellent customer service to drive sales and fundraising.
- Maximizing profit through effective cost control and sales strategies.
- Building relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues to drive fundraising and sales.
- Organizing and running creative fundraising events to achieve targets.
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, security, administration, and HR policies.
- Experience of managing and inspiring a diverse team to achieve commercial goals.
- Ability to work within targets and motivate others to achieve those targets.
- Commercial awareness and knowledge of high street fashion retail.
- Adaptability in changing situations and ability to work effectively independently.
- Flexibility to work a rota basis, including weekends.
