About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in the Adult Orthopaedic Inpatient Ward at Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, supporting patients with their personal needs, including washing, dressing, and mobilizing.
  • Assist patients with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional and hydration needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection prevention and control measures.
  • Safeguard adults and children, ensuring their well-being and dignity are respected.
  • Participate in the development of patients' care plans, contributing to their rehabilitation and recovery.
Requirements
  • Functional level of English and Math.
  • Customer service or experience working with people.
  • Working as part of a team.
