Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Lecturer in Global Political Economy to join our team at the University of Leeds. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for teaching and developing undergraduate and postgraduate modules and programmes in Global Political Economy.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a scholar with a passion for teaching and research to join our dynamic and inclusive academic community. You will be expected to teach and develop modules in Global Political Economy, as well as contribute to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Global Political Economy
  • Contribute to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • Supervise research degree students as appropriate
  • Conduct ongoing scholarship work in areas such as innovations in blended learning, building digital platforms for international teaching collaborations, and pedagogic projects

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant doctorate and excellent analytical and writing skills. You will also be expected to be able to coordinate key elements of the programme, including helping to organise outreach events and fostering linkages with other programmes in different regions.
