Job Title: Engineering Co-Ordinator

Join our team as an Engineering Co-Ordinator and play a key role in providing a high-quality repair and refurbishment service operating from our Gateshead Workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the engineering office function
  • Collate repair quotations from inspection reports
  • Assist in identifying requirements for spare parts for use in repairs
  • Plan and prioritize workload to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping and adhere to relevant legislation and company policies
  • Manage work in progress to ensure smooth flow through the department
  • Support wider team with projects and develop good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Achieve targets assigned by line manager and ensure engineering standards are adhered to
  • Optimize resource usage and support ad-hoc queries or requests within the function
Requirements:
  • Commercial acumen and ability to use Microsoft Office systems
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
  • ONC/HNC/City & Guilds or equivalent, preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of industrial gearboxes, motors, process pumps, and basic electrical practices
  • Previous experience of office/admin or similar type role advantageous
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Pro-active mindset, strong communication skills, and team player
  • Demonstrated ability to get stuck in and involved in ad-hoc projects
