We are seeking an experienced and inspirational midwife to take on the role of Director of Midwifery at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As the most senior midwife at the trust, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to create a positive culture of safety, learning, and support that aligns with the trust's values.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of national maternity requirements, ensuring the trust's vision and strategic direction are integrated into improving outcomes and experiences for women and birthing people.
- Establish and build effective networks, contacts, and partnerships within and external to the trust to inform and influence improvements in service delivery and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders to ensure the maternity service meets all external requirements, including national plans, MSSP, CQC, MIS, and MNSI.
