Adecco is Recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client in North Ayrshire on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading manufacturer of products worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment
  • Undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests
  • Conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required
  • Prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager to provide the most effective maintenance service possible
  • Ensure area of responsibility housekeeping is of a high standard
  • Complete engineering projects as assigned by management
  • Engage with suppliers to improve service levels and reduce costs
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Systems
Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to lead by example
  • Good team player with ability to work independently
  • Good timekeeper with flexibility to work outwith normal hours
  • Knowledge of pneumatic circuits and fault finding skills
  • Electrical controls knowledge, including PLCs and invertors
  • Computer literacy
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
