Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a dynamic team, ensuring excellence in equipment maintenance and the efficient operation of production lines. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Planning Engineers, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Managing costs and resources, including waste control, labour, and spare parts, to optimise maintenance efficiency.
- Overseeing the CMMS system to ensure effective planning and execution of maintenance activities.
- Spearheading Capex projects, with a budget of around GBP800k, and contributing to the strategic direction of the site.
- Ensuring the successful recruitment, training, and development of the engineering team.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines.
- Experience with budget management and Capex projects.
- A structured and organised approach to managing maintenance and engineering functions.
