Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our international company in Felinfach, West Wales. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking preventive and reactive maintenance on our process dairy equipment.

• Carry out preventive maintenance on all processes as allocated on IFS Service and Maintenance.
• Perform reactive maintenance when a breakdown of a process or any plant occurs, with a methodical approach to fault finding.
• Enter all relevant data into IFS Service and Maintenance, providing accurate information of work done, time on the job, and parts used.
• Raise a permit to work or a hazard awareness form before commencing work to ensure all hazards are identified and reduced/eliminated.
• Use the engineering library to gain knowledge of equipment/processes.

• ONC Engineering or equivalent in an electrical & mechanical discipline.
• Time served apprenticeship in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely on process dairy equipment comprising of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, instrumentation, control systems, CIP and steam systems.

• Up to £44k per annum depending on experience.
• 12 hour days & night shifts on a rotating, 4 week shift pattern (every other weekend off).
