Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Weekend Support Specialist to join our team at Burnside Mill, a resettlement center providing housing and support for vulnerable adults. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks throughout the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and promoting a secure atmosphere.
- Manage administrative tasks efficiently, including daily handovers and record-keeping, contributing to smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized communal space, upholding high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or a similar role, with a commitment to providing excellent support.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer programs.
- A genuine understanding of the challenges faced by homeless and vulnerable individuals, coupled with empathy and compassion.
