Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying software solutions for our secure customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Develop software solutions that extend and customize the core platform's capabilities to create tailored offerings for individual customers.
  • Integration and Deployment: Expand the core platform's capabilities by integrating additional data sources using a wide range of integration patterns, ensuring smooth integration and compatibility.
  • Support and Collaboration: Offer comprehensive, hands-on support throughout the deployment, configuration, and integrations phases, ensuring seamless implementation and addressing any challenges that arise promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as engineering, UX, and product management, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving and ensuring timely resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in JavaScript, Node.JS, and React with an underlying understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Tools: Proficient in the use of Linux, Git, MongoDB, and OpenSearch.
  • Cloud and Containerization: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and data processing solutions (Apache NiFi).
  • Security and Scalability: An understanding of how to create solutions that are secure, highly available, resilient, and scalable.
  • Software Development Lifecycle: A technical proficiency and a concrete understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
