We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to children and adolescents across Flintshire and Wrexham.
Main Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat mental disorders in children and adolescents in a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Participate in the regional CAMHS out of hours on-call rota, providing telephone advice to Paediatrics, Adult Mental Health, and our Adolescent Unit
- Experience of working in community CAMHS settings
- Knowledge of the Children Act (1989), Mental Health Act (1983), and Mental Capacity Act (2005)
- Excellent communication skills, effective leadership, and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
