About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers to provide individualized support to pupils, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, promoting a sense of community and teamwork.
- Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, fostering a love of learning in pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Qualification in Teaching Assistance (Level 2 or Level 3) or equivalent.
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (Academics can provide this).
- Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service.
- Two professional references.
