We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Yard Operative to join our team at SolviT Recruitment Ltd in Rugby. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties involved in the production of metal products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and targets
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance license
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular exposure to all weather conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including early morning shifts

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.80, with overtime paid at £17.70
  • 42.5 hours paid per week, with opportunities for additional overtime
  • Full-time, temporary to permanent contract
