Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage a team of electricians on various projects across the South East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are completed to the highest standards, in compliance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the projects quality plan and inspection and test plans
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise
  • Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation

Requirements:

  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects
  • Experience within water / heavy industrial industries
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Management in delivering safe profitable projects
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification
  • Relevant H&S certificate
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider

  • PASMA / IPAF
  • Confined space
  • COMPEX
  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
  • Test and Inspect
