About the Role

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, working closely with the Accounts Manager and Partners, and providing exceptional client service. They will also be required to prepare quarterly management accounts, ad hoc project work, and quarterly VAT returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare statutory accounts and work closely with the Accounts Manager and Partners
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts and ad hoc project work
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns
  • Close liaison with the Tax team, particularly around Corporate Tax Returns
Requirements
  • Qualified By Experience or a Qualified ACA / ACCA accountant
  • Up-to-date Accounts Preparation skills - FRS102 and FRS105: UK GAAP and IFRS is a bonus
  • Experience in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts preparation
  • Previous or current experience of working within a firm of Accountants and managing a small portfolio of clients
