We are currently looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Foundation Programme Administrator within the Postgraduate Medical Education department. This role is based in a dynamic educational environment and involves working closely with the Deputy Postgraduate Education Manager and fellow administrators.
This position is multifaceted and requires the ability to manage various tasks effectively, often under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be capable of working independently, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
The Foundation Programme Administrator will be tasked with overseeing the coordination of educational activities for foundation doctors, which includes:
- Organizing clinical placements and educational programs.
- Facilitating competency review panels and recruitment events.
- Ensuring compliance with placement requirements while addressing departmental challenges.
- Providing support for the daily operations of the Education Centre.
- Offering pastoral care and guidance to doctors in training, ensuring they have access to essential information.
