We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aerospace Inspector to join our team at GE Aviation. As an Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Test: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on propeller components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on propeller components, including strip-down and re-build operations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document and report inspection and repair results, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with engineering, quality, and other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Education and Experience: Minimum HNC Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with relevant experience in mechanical and hydraulic components.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, excellent literacy and numeracy skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desired Characteristics: Team player, inspection and reporting experience, good manual dexterity, and ability to multitask and deal with a varied workload.
