About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Urology Specialist Doctor to join our team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient running of the Urology department.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Urology, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. They will be expected to work collaboratively with our Consultant-led team to provide support to junior medical staff and participate in the training and supervision of junior doctors.

The appointee will be required to work flexibly, including participating in minor surgery and fast-track clinics, and will be expected to keep up to date with Trust mandatory training requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Urology department
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the department
  • Support junior medical staff and participate in training and supervision
  • Participate in minor surgery and fast-track clinics
  • Keep up to date with Trust mandatory training requirements

Requirements:

  • Full Registration with the General Medical Council and a Licence to Practise
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Urology
  • Ability to work flexibly, including participating in minor surgery and fast-track clinics
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team

Salary and Contract Information

The salary for this role is £59,175 to £95,400 per annum, dependent on experience. The contract is fixed-term for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
