Bookkeeper/Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our client's team on a part-time basis. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing all financial activities, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and VAT returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's financial records, including trial balance, bank reconciliations, and petty cash
  • Process payments, raise invoices, and manage client accounts
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Requirements:
  • Formal accounting qualification (AAT or ACCA) or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of working in a small business environment, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent IT skills, with experience of Xero or similar accounting software
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible attitude
