The King Co is seeking a highly skilled Drainage Engineer Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the environmental consultancy team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement drainage systems for highways, civil, residential, and commercial schemes.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of drainage design software, including MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civils3D.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their drainage needs and provide expert advice.
  • Conduct site visits to assess drainage systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of flood modeling and its application in highways projects.
  • Prepare and present reports to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in drainage design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of DMRB and Sewers for Adoption standards for drainage design.
  • Expertise in software design methods, including MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civils3D.
  • Technical competence in fundamental hydraulic design principles and ability to apply manual calculation methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
