Position Overview

The role of **IT Supplier Management Specialist** is crucial for overseeing and optimizing the relationships with our third-party IT vendors. This position is fully remote and is part of a prominent financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the effective management of suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Streamline the supplier ecosystem into a centralized operational model.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive Supplier Management Framework, which includes a detailed IT service catalogue for third-party suppliers, a contract management database, and clearly defined roles and responsibilities for each supplier.
  • Assess and analyze all existing IT supplier commitments acquired through business mergers.
  • Manage the entire supplier lifecycle from initiation to conclusion.
  • Understand and document all outsourced IT services along with their associated costs, while performing financial oversight.
  • Conduct general management, monitoring, and review processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Supplier or Contract Management role, ideally within an IT environment.
  • Familiarity with third-party supplier management frameworks.
  • Understanding of contract structures, key clauses, and terms.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial processes.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in procurement, including participation in RFI/RFP processes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.
