Job Title: FTTH Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused FTTH Engineer to join our team at Comex 2000 UK Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fibre broadband services to residential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of FTTH broadband services to residential premises, including external and internal cabling work.
  • Working at heights up to 15 metres, including working on telegraph poles and ladders.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a quality service is provided.
  • Self-auditing work to ensure it meets all company and client standards.
  • Maintenance of a clean and tidy environment at all times.
  • Prepared to work in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

  • A Full UK Driving License is essential due to the field-based nature of the role.
  • Full training will be provided to the right candidate, however candidates with experience working on the BT Openreach network and hold NRSWA Street Works qualifications are desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and clients.
  • Proactive in the resolution of engineering obstacles, with liaison with Team Managers.
  • Ability to take direction from management and carry out works in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Dedication to delivering high levels of customer service.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Computer literate with exceptional understanding of Microsoft applications.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Good organisation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to work location.
  • Experience in a Planning or related role.
  • Telecommunications experience or knowledge.
