Business Development Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our Platforms Business Unit at Western Digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding our business and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key customers and partners
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive long-term business growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition
- Travel as required to meet with customers and partners, with a focus on the EMEAI region
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development and sales growth in data storage, storage networking, or related areas
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and simplified manner
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data storage, storage networking, or related areas with storage ODMs, OEMs, Systems Integrators, and Hyperscale Data Centers
- Previous experience in storage networking topologies is a plus
