The ideal candidate for the Advanced Moulding Technician role will possess a solid background in Moulding operations, comprehensive knowledge of moulding machinery, and a keen eye for quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively report and address any health and safety concerns identified during shifts.
- Conduct a thorough handover at the beginning of each shift to discuss all cleanliness issues and communicate any findings from the previous shift to the Production Manager.
- Participate in maintaining the cleanliness of your machinery and the surrounding work area (including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment).
- Ensure that all necessary documentation, labels, and specifications are prepared and available at the workstation prior to commencing production.
- Perform quality checks as per training guidelines, ensuring that the product meets specifications in terms of quality, quantity, and packaging.
- Confirm that box labels are properly signed, conduct regular visual inspections, and document any product or machinery issues for corrective action by setters. Foster a collaborative team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure efficient and smooth operations throughout the shift.
- Undertake deep cleaning of machinery as required.
- Fulfill any reasonable requests from Quality Control or other members of the production or management teams.
- Provide assistance to the team and Quality Control as necessary.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of materials, machinery, and operational processes.
