Automotive Service Technician
Location: West London
Salary: £36,000 - £44,000; plus bonus up to £6,600 (uncapped)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM, Saturday on a Rota Basis 8AM-12PM

We are looking for a proficient and knowledgeable Automotive Service Technician to join our client's primary facility in West London. The successful candidate will be tasked with diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a diverse range of vehicle brands and models. This role necessitates a solid grasp of automotive systems and the capability to utilize diagnostic equipment and software to pinpoint and rectify intricate issues. The ideal applicant will possess a genuine enthusiasm for automobiles and a dedication to providing exceptional workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle malfunctions, encompassing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Execute routine maintenance procedures, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake assessments.
  • Employ diagnostic tools and software to uncover and resolve complex vehicle issues.
  • Maintain precise records of all services performed and components utilized.
  • Engage with clients regarding vehicle concerns and repair suggestions.
  • Uphold a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in automotive technology and repair methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a vehicle technician role.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
