We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Team Member (Nights) to become part of our Micheldever operation in Greenford. This role involves working from Sunday to Thursday, focusing on the efficient picking and loading of customer orders for transfer to various locations.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Team Member (Nights) will be responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are accurately processed and prepared for dispatch. The role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately select and prepare goods for distribution to other locations or customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date and precise location information for items within the warehouse.
  • Conduct stock rotation and ensure proper inventory management.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Organize and place materials onto racks and shelves efficiently.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of orders.
  • Perform regular spot checks and audits to maintain quality control.
  • Audit stock movements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all legal, health and safety, and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any incidents or health and safety concerns immediately.
  • Follow established procedures and practices as per training received.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Results-driven with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Capable of lifting and handling goods safely.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Effective communication and time management abilities.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to change and proactive in approach.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment.
