Job Summary:

MERITUS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Cheltenham, London, or Ipswich offices. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering function, you will play a leading role in designing, building, and managing secure platforms and infrastructure for our defence consultancy clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions for our clients, leveraging your expertise in Windows and Linux server administration, VMware administration, and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor and assist junior engineers in their professional development.
  • Work within existing monitoring, observability, and security frameworks to achieve customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • High-level experience in designing, building, and managing Windows or Linux infrastructure.
  • Strong experience managing on-prem and VMware server environments.
  • Automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Exposure to infrastructure design and automation.
  • Active DV security clearance.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £80,000 (dependent on experience).
