About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare. The successful candidate will work with a lady in her 60s who has acquired a brain injury and requires support to live independently in her own home in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2-to-1 support to the lady, assisting her with daily tasks and activities to promote her independence and well-being.
  • Develop a strong relationship with the lady, understanding her needs, preferences, and interests to provide tailored support.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the lady receives comprehensive and person-centred care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in social care, ideally with mental health experience.
  • Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months of employment in the UK.
