Exciting Opportunity for a Trainee Hydraulic Service Engineer

Verto People is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Hydraulic Service Engineer to join our team. As a Trainee Hydraulic Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of Hydraulic hoses and related products into several different engineering industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of Hydraulic hoses and related products.
  2. Undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of hydraulic hoses at customer sites and the depot.
  3. Install hydraulic hoses into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
  4. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on hydraulic equipment.
  5. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  1. Proven service / maintenance skills on mechanical engineering systems.
  2. Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
  3. Ideally have hands-on experience in mechanical domains. Preference will be given to candidates with a mechanical engineering background, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to novel challenges.
  4. Full UK driver's license.
  5. Background in hydraulics would be advantageous.
  6. Flexibility to travel to customer sites.
