Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at CastleView Group. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, storing, and shipping goods to meet our customers' high expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and store goods inwards following Amazon's internal processes and procedures, utilizing radio frequency scanners to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Pack and ship customer orders with precision and attention to detail, meeting our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Pick products from our inventory with accuracy and speed, utilizing multi-level mezzanine or high-level picker systems as needed.
Physical Demands

The role requires standing and/or walking for the duration of a shift, with standard full-time shifts being 10 hours excluding overtime, flex, and part-time shifts may vary. You will also be required to lift and move products up to 23kg in weight, as well as perform other physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and pushing/pulling products.

  • Standing and/or walking during the duration of a shift.

  • Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and/or stretching during the duration of a shift.
  • Pushing and pulling product up to 23kg in weight during the duration of a shift.
  • Manual dexterity of both hands and wrists.
  • Working on a secure mezzanine at a height of between 9 to 12 metres (equivalent to a 3 or 4 storey building).
  • Regularly climbing and descending flights of stairs safely.
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.30 for daytime shifts, £14.27 (including a £1.97 night shift allowance) for night time shifts, and £18.45 and £24.60 for overtime hours. Our available shifts include 30.0 hrs (06:00-12:30), 40.0 hrs (23:45-10:15), and 20.0 hrs (23:45-10:15), with standard shifts being 6am-12pm, 6am-2pm, and new shifts including 6am-12.30pm, 12.30pm-8pm, and 4pm-9pm.
