Universal Business Team, a market leader in sealing and protecting commercial glazing and facades, is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to drive financial operations and contribute to the company's growth strategy.

As a key member of the finance team, you will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing monthly management accounts, leading year-end audit processes, and ensuring statutory requirements are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Prepare monthly management accounts using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Lead year-end audit processes and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Conduct cash flow projections, analysis, and forecasts to support business decisions
  • Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and ad hoc information for the Board
  • Manage payment arrangements for suppliers and resolve sales invoice issues with clients

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts preparation, preferably in an SME environment
  • Experience with multi-company accounting and handling overseas business transactions
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of banking and debtor management
  • Proactive, determined, flexible, and a team player with high proficiency in IT
