Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for driving forward both turnover and revenues from the store based on lean principles. You'll work closely with our Store Manager to achieve company KPIs, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards in store presentation, stock control, and administration compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of a department
- Act as Duty Manager for the entire store in the absence of Store Management
- Assist Store Management in achieving company KPIs
- Ensure your team delivers exceptional customer service
- Deliver exemplary standards in store presentation, stock control, shrinkage, and administration compliance
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and legislation
- Use management information to make strategic business decisions
Requirements
- Proven track record in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to demonstrate high levels of operational, leadership, planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Target-driven and customer service-oriented
- Highly motivated and ambitious
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude
