Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Springdene Nursing and Care Homes Limited. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in our care homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure residents' rooms and communal areas are spotlessly clean and tidy at all times.
  • Perform laundry duties to provide a clean and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
  • Work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain impeccable standards and meet Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Adhere to our strict cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a consistent level of quality.

Working Hours: The successful candidate will be required to work a set rota, which includes weekend shifts. The specific schedule is as follows:

  • Week 1: Saturday and Sunday - Late shift - 10am to 6pm
  • Week 2: Saturday and Sunday - Early shift - 7am to 3pm

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of our residents and staff.
