As a Setter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production, participating in the setup and development of new production lines, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

• Ensure machine and automation equipment are running to their optimum.
• Carry out inspection of parts and sampling in accordance with SOP and quality requirements.
• Condition setting machines, sometimes from scratch.
• Loading and unloading mould tools in a quick, safe and timely manner to fit with production requirements and obtain first off samples.
• Trouble shooting / Problem solving.
• Assisting with the set up of new machinery and development of processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience as a Setter or Technician in plastics manufacturing environment (injection moulding, blow moulding, or plastic extrusion).
• Ability to troubleshoot moulding/processing issues, thinking outside the box when necessary.
• Experience of setting up / installing new machinery.
