Loan Documentation and Securities Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that facility agreements and transaction documents are prepared in compliance with approved credit proposals and completed in a timely manner.
- Upon approval of credit proposals, you will register new facility proposals on monitoring reports, monitor execution of documentation, drawdown, and return of executed documentation.
- You will review and negotiate primary loan documentation, including facility letters, LMA-based facility agreements, deeds of priority, inter-creditor agreements, security documentation, and due diligence documentation.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and counterparties throughout the loan documentation process and post-issue.
- Ensure that utilisation requests are in compliance with facility agreements.
- Post-issue monitor outstanding items, such as collection of original copies of executed loan and security documentation, legal opinions, and ancillary documents.
- Provide post-issue documentation support, review documentation requiring Bank's consent, and attend amendment and restatement of facility agreements.
- Monitor loan security, such as assignment of new leases, insurance renewals, and contribute to the maintenance of legal updates and templates.
- Evaluate and escalate issues relevant to loan documentation and security when necessary.
- Contribute to the improvement of team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure maximum potential is achieved.
- Fluent spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese highly preferred, but Mandarin could be considered).
- Solid experience on LMA documentation and commercial lending.
- Prior experience in lending involving property as security and familiar with relevant procedures for perfection and registration preferred.
