Job Summary

Gold Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Contribute to efficiency improvements across the site by identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining a vigilant approach to work and reporting any areas of interest to site management.
  • Complete maintenance paperwork and computer entries in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant, as required.
  • Perform mechanical repairs, including motors, inverters, and gearboxes.
  • Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act and Environmental Procedures.
  • Pursue ongoing personal development by staying up-to-date with new techniques, processes, and equipment, and participating in training courses and in-house training, as needed.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and quality awareness.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Hold electrically qualified certification and a recognized apprenticeship or engineering qualification, such as BTEC or HNC.
  • Be proficient in using computer-based maintenance systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Demonstrate expertise in mechanical testing, fault finding, installation, and inspection.
