Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the complete Production process through third-party subcontract manufacturers, which includes Stock Management, Planning, Logistics, Purchasing, and Order Fulfilment.
- Collaborating closely with the Sales team to establish a comprehensive production schedule that guarantees timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Ensuring that customer orders are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet the required quality standards, while also ensuring delivery as promised.
- Conducting analysis of production and quality control processes to identify and rectify issues.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cost reduction and quality enhancement.
- Overseeing various components of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to uphold ISO 9001 accreditation, which includes the creation of documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) assessments, and Risk Assessments.
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years in Production Management, encompassing Stock Management, Planning, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Order Fulfilment.
- At least 5 years of experience in Production Management, specifically in electronics and assembly, including Stock Management, Planning, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), along with Order Fulfilment.
- Experience in people management, including training and maintaining Performance Development Reviews (PDR) for team members.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining company procedures.
- Experience managing subcontract suppliers and vendors, including conducting audits.
- Familiarity with PLM software.
- Knowledge and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in conveying information clearly to senior management.
