About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our dynamic team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing inpatient support to young people requiring medical care for an eating disorder on our acute Paediatric ward, as well as outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary sessions to support care planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nutritional advice and support to patients and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the needs of patients with eating disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify nutritional needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on nutrition and eating disorders

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian with a strong background in Paediatric Nutrition and Eating Disorders
  • Experience working with young people with eating disorders and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition and eating disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
