Senior Bid Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Coordinator to join our Construction Midlands team based in either Birmingham or Nottingham.
As a Senior Bid Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting first-stage tenders and preparing high-quality bids that meet our customers' needs. You will be responsible for assembling the bid team, agreeing individual roles and responsibilities, and ensuring the quality of written content in our bids.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enhancing the quality of bids with clear, accessible written content
- Writing bespoke answers to customer questions
- Communicating effectively and influencing stakeholders
- Reviewing and critiquing specialist authors' responses
- Writing and editing bid submissions into compelling and persuasive responses
- Ensuring the writing structure and words used in the proposal persuasively convey the offer to the customer
- Managing a varied workload with multiple conflicting deadlines
- Understanding and including customer-focused sales messages and sharing with bid authors
- Identifying risks and opportunities
- Managing multiple stakeholders across the Willmott Dixon business
Requirements:
- Experience in a Bid writer role or in a role displaying significant written skills (e.g., PR, journalism)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communicator
- Understanding of the bid process across any sector or industry
