Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine servicing, attending breakdowns, and performing preventative and reactive maintenance on mould injection machinery and robotic machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
  2. Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem-solve to minimize downtime.
  3. Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.
  4. Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to quality standard regulations.
  5. Preventative and reactive maintenance on mould injection machinery and robotic machinery.
  6. Test and confirm electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic operations of mould injection machines.
  7. Ensure risk assessments are available, read, and understood for each activity undertaken.
  8. Undertake special projects as required.
  9. Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.

Requirements

A successful Maintenance Engineer/Technician will have a recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or similar ideally) and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of quality control procedures and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
