The RoleWe are seeking dedicated SEMH Learning Mentors to support students' social, emotional, and mental health development. As a Learning Mentor, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and professionals in partner schools to provide individualized support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to students with SEMH needs.
- Develop and implement individual support plans to promote emotional and social development.
- Assist in activities that foster emotional and social growth, helping students develop coping strategies and resilience.
- Monitor and report on student progress, collaborating with teachers to create a supportive classroom environment.
- Liaise with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
- Degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in education.
- Knowledge of SEMH needs and support practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
