Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

Square Enix is a leading entertainment company that creates and delivers engaging experiences for customers worldwide. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science & AI Team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and deploying large-scale machine learning models that drive user engagement and personalization. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable data science models and algorithms to drive marketing, promotion, and personalization actions.
  • Analyze and interpret user behavior data to inform business decisions.
  • Lead junior/mid data scientists in the development of recommendation systems and machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation and impact of recommender systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in machine learning and data science.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist and/or Product Engineer, working on similar projects.
  • Practical experience in methodologies used in recommender systems, such as Collaborative Filtering, Content Based Recommendation, Matrix Factorization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and technologies for deploying and managing machine learning models at scale.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in managing junior/mid data scientists.
