Role Overview

Silven is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team in Rochdale. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment and systems within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and planned maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an FMCG environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to work on a wide range of equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
