Job Opportunity at Childbase Partnership

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice in Childcare at our Brinds Well Day Nursery in Orpington, Kent.

About the Role

This early years apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in childcare and education, while working towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to create and maintain safe and supportive learning environments for young children.
  • Plan and implement opportunities to enhance children's development and complete observations linked to the early years curriculum.
  • Interact positively with all nursery users and work in partnership with colleagues and parents to ensure all children's individual needs are met.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies and seek guidance from your leadership team as required.

  • An hourly pay rate of £6.55, increasing to £10 per hour after 6 months and £11.44 per hour after 12 months.

Requirements
  • Documentation to evidence your right to work in the UK.
  • Photographic ID in the form of a valid passport or driving licence.
  • Official documentation to evidence your national insurance number.
  • Access to a computer to undertake the initial online assessment and submit ongoing coursework.
  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Comfortable with travelling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
