Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to lead our Corporate Tax department. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of tax professionals, delivering innovative corporate tax advisory and compliance solutions to our clients. The role requires a strong leader who can provide strategic direction, ensure technical excellence, and drive business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Corporate Tax Department: Ensure efficient delivery of high-quality tax services, oversee the review and sign-off of tax computations, and maintain and grow relationships with clients.
  • Advise Clients on Complex Tax Matters: Develop bespoke tax strategies aligned with their business objectives, stay up to date with tax legislation and industry developments, and provide guidance to both the team and clients.
  • Drive Business Development Efforts: Identify opportunities to expand our corporate tax offering, foster a positive and inclusive team culture, and encourage professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • ACA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification.
    • Extensive experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance within a professional services firm.
    • Proven track record of leading and developing a team of tax professionals.
    • Strong technical expertise in UK corporate tax matters.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to identify commercial opportunities and drive business development.
