Job Overview: The Elizabeth School of London Limited is seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Educator to significantly impact the evolution of higher education. As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in delivering educational programs in Health and Social Care, collaborating with distinguished university partners.

Role Objectives: The selected candidate will become part of the innovative team at Elizabeth School of London Limited, contributing to the execution of various full-time educational programs, including Foundation year and full-degree courses. These programs are crafted in partnership with prestigious institutions such as Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, St Mary's University Twickenham London, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional teaching and learning experiences across a variety of programs within a Higher Education environment, focusing on the Foundation year in Health and Social Care.
  • Guide students through personalized tutoring, providing support to help them reach their academic aspirations and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Actively engage in the enhancement and continuous development of courses, working collaboratively with both faculty and students.
  • Contribute to the formulation of module/unit-specific Schemes of Work.
  • Create and develop educational materials for each module being taught.
  • Facilitate subject-specific sessions aligned with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of the modules.
  • Implement assessments as directed by the assessment team.
  • Identify and address the learning needs of students enrolled in your modules.
  • Provide timely formative feedback to students as outlined in the program specifications.
  • Assess and deliver summative feedback within the deadlines established by the Assessment Team.
  • Ensure adherence to the expectations set forth by the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities.
  • Generate relevant module/unit reports.
  • Exhibit effective communication skills with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Contribute to the School's Research Department located at the Holborn campus.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and/or a PhD in a relevant field.
  • Teaching qualifications such as PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA.
  • Prior lecturing experience in similar courses at the Higher Education level.
  • Competence in using Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams, and Zoom.

  • Experience in the Health and Social Care industry.
