Exciting Opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join our team at Oldham Council's Duty Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and conducting assessments, planning, and delivering interventions to support children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and conduct a range of assessments, planning, and delivery of interventions to support children and families.
  • Ensure the right support and interventions are in place for children and their families, and that children are protected from significant harm.
  • Have knowledge of children's services legislative frameworks and legal proceedings, and be able to make complex information accessible for every audience.
  • Deliver high-quality and effective social work practice to support, empower, and promote independence, strengths, and assets of both children, families, and within their local communities.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registered
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
