Job Title: Security Consultant
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Security Consultant to join our team at SSR Personnel. As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the organization's security position, implementing a policy that encompasses all areas of public space, and working with tenants to craft an overall security strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization's security position, including implementing policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of visitors and stakeholders.
- Work with tenants to develop an overall security strategy that meets the needs of the organization and its stakeholders.
- Collaborate with national and local government agencies, as well as blue light services, to understand threats to the development and implement mitigation processes.
- Oversee a security budget and develop a value proposition for the Board that enhances reputation and visitor interaction.
- Manage tenant relationships, set standards for asset protection, and provide leadership in security forums.
- Work with internal departments to ensure that security services and technology solutions are effective.
Requirements:
- Experience in protecting public spaces, with a formal background in security or a related field.
- Sound corporate and event security experience, with a track record in navigating complex security challenges.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and operate in a mixed-use environment.
- Travel time cannot exceed 45 minutes from central London.
Preferred Education and Certifications:
- Degree or undergraduate education in a related field.
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification.
- Security Management diploma or degree.
- Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) certification.
