Go Software Engineer, Commercial Systems

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Go Software Engineer to join our Commercial Systems team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating distributed systems and APIs using Go.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers who are passionate about building scalable and reliable systems. You will be working on a wide range of projects, from security and authentication to data warehousing and business operations.
Responsibilities- Design and develop distributed systems and APIs using Go
- Collaborate with colleagues on technical designs and stay in sync with team members
- Deploy and operate services developed by the team
- Improve engineering and operations practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related engineering field
- Experience as a software developer in a high-level language - preferably Go or Python
- Experience building, deploying, and operating distributed systems and APIs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to collaborate remotely with a diverse set of team members and stakeholders
