Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic nurse to join our Colorectal Nurse Team at Ipswich Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assessing GP referrals for patients with Lower GI (colorectal cancers) and ensuring that cancer standards are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with GP practices, patients, and other healthcare professionals to assess the most suitable first face-to-face contact in secondary care.
- Ensure that patients receive the necessary care and support, including the supply of Oral bowel cleansing solution (OBCS) when required.
- Support the development of other 'one stop' assessment and treatment clinics and direct access endoscopy.
- Collaborate with the Colorectal Cancer CNS service to provide high-quality patient-centered care.
